    Cons -

    • There was construction going on during our stay that made it less fun. Banging and sawing began at 7:00 and continued through noon.
    • TV system almost impossible to navigate; Numerous movie channels but not a single English movie channel
    • The room was spacious, but DARK. The Terrace opened into an airshaft and shared a fabric wall with the elevator landing...

Good area, because it's a little bit away from the center while still in the center. Concierge was very helpful and staff very amenable and catering.

If travelling to Rome then this is definitely the hotel to stay in. Located in an excellent area of the city just a few minutes walk from the Piazza del Popolo, this is a smart, very friendly and first class hotel. My better half and I found the room very clean, spacious with lovely sized bathroom, warm and very comfortable bed. Room was also very quiet. Has a fabulous breakfast selection, always fresh and plenty of choice. A special mention must go to Maria at Reception - effective, efficient, super friendly and extremely helpful - a real credit to the hotel and company. Her recommendations for local restaurants in which to enjoy proper Italian foods and wines were first class. Another mention to Sani, operating in the bar area - again, very friendly and helpful.

The location was great and in a walking distance to major historical sites. Also if you like luxury shopping, it’s on your doorstep.

I booked the hotel for three adults and called the hotel prior to make sure there were three proper beds. I was assured it was suitable for 4 adults so three would be no problem. The third bed was very uncomfortable sofa bed. After raising the issue with the reception, an extra foldable - even more uncomfortable- bed was provided. The receptionist was rude and reassuring me “the never had this issue before.”

Amazing location which is heart of the all attraction very close to Spanish steps

Firstly, I booked this hotel based on my previous experiences of other branches of this group (margutta 54 and margutta 19 ), when we arrived to hotel and checked in, we realized that our room is looking straight to wall and felt like prison, when we called the reception they told us you should checked it before coming, ( I don't understand how). As I experienced before Rome is an ancient city and mostly accomodation near me attraction areas are narrow and small which may happen like that, but if I known that I did not rent this room, any how we agreed to pay 70 euro per night extra to upgrade the room. The room that they gave us huge and spacious with two levels. But unfortunately room is so old that nearly everything is either detached, torn or not right position. On the other hand all the amenities of the room, bed sheets and complimentarries were perfect. As I mentioned before I stayed another branches this hote previously 2 times and I can easily say that they were 10 out of 10. But this one made me disappointment, definitely it need serious renovation asap

The breakfast has a good variety of fruits and yoghurt, but could improve its bread selection.

The room was really really nice, the bed very comfortable and everything was clean. The breakfast buffet was impressive and always fresh. The staff was exceptional: very nice and friendly, always ready to help and very responsive to any request. The location is also very good, not to close to the crowded historic center, but close enough to walk..I highly recommend this hotel.

Room was small but comfortable. Surprisingly quiet considering it is on a major shopping street in a high traffic tourist area. Location is great. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of pastries, fruit and charcuterie. The hot items could have been better prepared. All the hotel staff were well presented and very helpful.

The Chromecast streaming service was not working and there was no other method available to access streaming TV. The service was not repaired during our 3 night stay, which is not what I would expect from a luxury hotel.

Location was great! Near Piazza Del Poppolo. Breakfast was good. Rooftop breakfast area was awesome! Staff was also awesome! Some of the front desk staff were also good.

Room was a basic one. Should not be classified as a luxury hotel. Bed was OK. Bathroom flush had an issue. Toiletries were OK.

    7AnnaPosted on: 11-16-2025

The location is absolutely fantastic — right in the very center of the city, just a few steps from Piazza del Popolo. The breakfasts were decent, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. However, the hotel itself is quite old and really needs renovation. I didn’t love the bed, the room was rather dark, and the radiator in the bathroom was leaking.Overall, you can stay here for the sake of the excellent location, but given the price, I would expect the hotel to be updated.

Also, be prepared for the fact that staying in the very center means it can get quite noisy at night

    Location and roof terrace

Old filthy room, probably the worst not-renewed room still left in the hotel

    9MariamPosted on: 11-8-2025

Excellent location with wonderful rooftop veranda

Some of the rooms are less impressive this time the room was wonderful

    Location , breakfast

The room has several problems , the interior handle of the bathroom’s door was lose and in the floor for two days , the door can’t be shut The sink was clogged for two days , The AC thermostat didn’t work . Some staff at the front desk are super friendly and attentive , some were really rude

Clean, comfortable and excellent staff and location.

Room is a bit small and hotel has limited facilities.

    10StuartPosted on: 10-22-2025

Spacious room , quiet ,excellent bathroom with a lounge area and desk

    10JosePosted on: 10-12-2025

Great location, huge suite with all amenities, great shower. Close to Piazza del Popolo and Via del Corso. Excellent breakfast included, very nice staff at the breakfast area. Complimentary bottle of wine at the suite, biscotti and cookies.

    Concierge service could do better.
